Difficulty in shutting early Mini Doors?

Frequently after repair work to the early Mini doors and ‘A’ panels the gap between the door and the body reduces in size. Due to this the original door seal can be too big and the door will not close comfortably. Complete the Blue Tack test to find the gap width. This will then determine which seal is required.

BLUE TACK TEST 
Take off the door seal and spot some blue tack or plasticine around the frame.  Close the door, then when you open it you can see the size of the gap and if it alters in different places.
