Fitting Plastic Trim

Store the trim in a warm place for 24 hours before fitting. Place in warm water for 10 minutes and then fit straight away. Try to fit away from draughts in a garage, workshop or outside on a hot sunny day. If you do have a problem on a bend then use a hair dryer.

***NOTHING HOTTER***

DO NOT use a blowtorch or heat gun; trim and paintwork will be damaged.

PT 24 has a bead of mastic in the centre. Do not soak this trim. If the mastic does not adhere to the edge, use a hair dryer to activate the mastic.
